Andrew Palau and 700 churches are celebrating the success of their Love Tanzania Festival.
The global evangelist worked together with local churches for the two-day evangelistic event at the Jangwani Stadium in Dar es Salaam earlier this month.
The aim of the event was to foster unity, love and humanitarian outreach.
Speaking to the crowds, Palau invited them to "experience the fullness of Christ".
"I'm begging you to receive God's grace. Jesus is here. The battle is won," he said.
In addition to Palau's biblical messages of hope, there were music performances from Tanzanian artists The Voice, Christina Shusho, comedian Masanja and a national worship team led by Pastor Safari Paul. Nicole C Mullen and Don Moen also took to the stage to perform.
For the children, there was a special stage show featuring British kid's ministry leader Duggie Dug Dug, while BMX and FMX athletes put on thrilling high-flying demonstrations.
"It was fantastically wonderful," said a local resident who attended the festival. "I've been waiting ten years for this."
An estimated 125,000 people attended and several thousand reportedly made public commitments to Jesus Christ. Festival staff received around 6,300 response cards over the course of the festival from individuals who had made decisions to follow Christ. Local Christians will follow up with the individuals and connect them to a church in their area.
Archbishop Valentine Mokiwa of the Anglican Church thanked Palau and the team for the festival.
"It is now our responsibility to do all that we can to strengthen the unity and build on it," he said.
Palau festival director Tim Innes said: "Dar es Salaam in Swahili means 'the Harbor of Peace'.
"Truly, Love Tanzania Festival has brought the peace of Christ in a historic way to the churches and to the city of Dar es Salaam.
"The churches have never experienced this level of unity. God has done it and we give Him all the glory."
The festival was preceded by several weeks of local church outreach supported by an international team of volunteers.
During the ministry week, local churches staged several service projects and community outreaches.
These included the running of four eye clinics that provided reading glasses for more than 8,000 people. The Palau team report that hundreds of people lined up each day, some as early as 5am, to be fitted for a pair of glasses. Each patient to have their vision tested at the clinics received a copy of the Gospel of John.
More than 1,500 kids took part in football and basketball clinics hosted by Play for Hope, a team of professional coaches from Rwanda.
"The unity across the churches in Tanzania throughout this campaign has been historic," Palau said. "The heart of the pastors and leaders to make a difference by loving the city and proclaiming this life-changing message will impact Tanzania for generations. I am humbled and honoured to be a part of it."

1.  Because she wants a provider.
This is a downright instinctual need for some women,so it’s not really fair to judge a woman based on her preference to be a career housewife. Now mind you,not every woman is biologically suited to be independent and ambitious. However, the ones that are tend to be stubborn about their quest to find that doctor or lawyer or movie star of her dreams.

2.Because rich men usually work for their money.
Realistically speaking though,a girl is far more likely to meet a rich man who earns his money through hard work,an entrepreneurial mindset and a creative and risk-taking lifestyle. This is actually part of the attraction she wants a powerful man,and one who is simply not content to be “average.”

3.Rich men are much more confident.
Knowing that you have something “special” gives you confidence from deep down.
This is why most beautiful women you know have their choice of dates.
They are confident about themselves, the world, and their greatest qualities. So the idea of a man rejecting them hardly matters, since they can get attention elsewhere.
This is generally the mindset of the rich man.A man who knows his own value, and so doesn’t have to beg for a woman’s favor. It’s too bad more poor men out there didn’t realize the value of confidence, since it’s really not about money at all.

4.Because a rich man offers security.
Sometimes it’s not all about providing for a woman.Sometimes the attraction is just the idea of being “secure.” A rich man has enough money to take care of a woman’s needs—even if she’s high maintenance.
As in medical bills, exotic vacations, salon pampering.
Beyond that,a man with security can also protect his baby from the storm of recession, depression or even petty crime, given that huge mansion with alarm system installed.

5.Being with a rich man enables a woman to pursue her own goals rather than help him achieve his.
If a man is poor or middle class,he is usually focused on providing for the family.
He may even want his wife to work, or at least play full time house servant.
That means little to no free time for her own goals.A rich man has already achieved many of his goals, and so has more free time to give his most precious lover.

6.A rich man means an open schedule.
What women can’t relate to the idea of a man who is always available (even when he’s working…as in, he can afford to take a day off) and always seems to be having fun?
Why it’s like a marriage full of awesome first dates…and without the kitchen sinks drama of a traditional marriage.

7. A rich man has a prestigious name.
The richer a man is, the more prestige he has to his name. Some women like the idea of a rich man because they could possibly benefit from his prestige.
Even he’s not a politician or a movie star, still, a marriage to a rich man could instantly gain her a prominent and influential circle of friends.

8.Daddy Issues. If a woman is conspicuously attracted to power, discipline and a domineering attitude, then it usually has something to do with her own daddy issues.
Some women marry men who act similarly to their fathers; others may choose men who are the polar opposites of their father. Older men tend to be father-like in their attitudes, reactions and wisdom.

9.    She likes to see him work.
An interesting thing about human psychology:both men and women love to watch their mates excel at something. We spend most of our lives being “average” in everything, and very good at only a few things. So the idea of watching a doctor or a lawyer work and strut his stuff in front of others can be a huge turn on for a woman looking for someone “special”—a cut above the rest.

10. She wants to be the envy of others.
We’d be lying if we said every single woman out there is mature, rational and smart about men. The truth is; some of us make downright batty decisions!
Some women are actually so competitive with friends, family and acquaintances they let their desire to be important and prominent affect their dating choices.
Girls, don’t fear the rich men out there. There are some really nice rich guys.
My advice however,is to pay extra close attention to a man’s personality and make sure he’s the type of guy who appreciates the value of good work and isn't just a spoiled boy with daddy’s money
